Lemon Lamps (2024)

set of six lamps made out of 1,285 dried lemon slices

Emerged from a year-long lemon exploration, where lemons became the main material and object of meditation on loss and change. Lemon lamps made of biomaterial change every day. Due to the oxidation process, they shrink, change shapes and colours, and slowly decay, visually representing the passage of time.
